Issues such as <strong>discrimination<\/strong>, <strong>marginalization<\/strong>, <strong>cyberbullying<\/strong> are on the agenda in newspapers and too frequently the protagonists of these events are the <strong>youngest<\/strong> because they&#8217;re <strong>fragile<\/strong> or naive. To counter these phenomena, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webecome.it\/\">Webecome<\/a><\/strong> was born, <strong>a service to prevent social unrest in primary school<\/strong> promoted by <strong>Intesa San Paolo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"635\" height=\"445\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5818\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-5.jpg 635w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-5-320x224.jpg 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was born as an <strong>educational proposal<\/strong> for <strong>primary schools<\/strong> to accompany <strong>teachers<\/strong>, <strong>school managers<\/strong> and children&#8217;s <strong>families<\/strong> in understanding the phenomena of social unrest; these develop from early school age, and it is therefore important to <strong>train<\/strong> all the figures involved in the daily and social life of the child to support him\/her in growth. Parallel to the prevention path, <strong>Webecome<\/strong> also provides tools for the development of <em>life skills,<\/em> <strong>soft skills<\/strong> such as creativity, problem solving, emotional and social intelligence, essential for a positive and total growth path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The development of the project as an <strong>educational path<\/strong> is a very interesting and courageous approach to such a broad and delicate subject, often treated <strong>superficially<\/strong> and with solutions aimed at contrasting the single episode (the act of discrimination in the classroom, the <em>social chain<\/em> dangerous for the child\u2026), without considering that this is often a symptom of a <strong>profound, structural problem<\/strong>. Therefore it is important in designing <strong>a service to prevent social unrest in primary school<\/strong> to provide concrete support and involve the whole <strong>educational community<\/strong>; the school and the family are the two key institutions in the growth of the child and consequently are also fundamental for the growth of <strong>civil society<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-3-960x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5816\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-3-960x533.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-3-320x178.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-3-768x427.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-3-640x356.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-3.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These assumptions materialize in a free <strong>online platform<\/strong> with eight <strong>thematic itineraries<\/strong> created with the contribution of more than 60 experts in various fields. Through <strong>video interviews<\/strong>, educational videos, infographics, bibliographies and <strong>design tools,<\/strong> Webecome suggests to teachers and parents a proactive approach that aims at enhancing <strong>positive attitudes<\/strong>, rather than analyzing wrong behaviors. To date, the project is active in 100 schools, involves 120 teachers and a total of 2500 children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The educational proposal is expressed in the Alphabet for Growing, 8 letters for 8 keywords that indicate the recipe for combating the phenomena of discomfort treated: Bullying, Diversity, Nutrition, Cyberbullying, Transversal skills, Addictions), Digital civics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-2-960x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5815\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-2-960x480.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-2-320x160.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-2-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-2-640x320.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/a-service-to-prevent-social-unrest-in-primary-school-2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To develop the project, Intesa San Paolo turned to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/logotel.it\/it\/selected-works\/intesa-sanpaolo-webecome\">Logotel<\/a><\/strong>, which managed and coordinated all phases of the service, from concept to launch, with a <strong>co-design<\/strong> approach. This methodology has not only guided the development of the project, but is a common thread of every thematic path, in the belief that it can become a real <strong>approach to the whole life<\/strong>: just as in designing Webecome, the designers involved families, schools and dozens of experts in various fields, the paths offered by the platform provide the tools to face today&#8217;s complexity in a multidisciplinary perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This parallelism is certainly wide-ranging, in the long term, but to hope for both civil and cultural <strong>growth<\/strong> of <strong>society<\/strong> it is necessary to start from the <strong>new generations<\/strong>, to support and educate them with the awareness that today&#8217;s children will be tomorrow&#8217;s adults.
