These data leave little\u00a0space for interpretation and tell of a widespread problem that affects first and foremost the <strong>development<\/strong> of children. These are some of the reasons behind the design of <strong>a sleep trainer for children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Children have an extremely <strong>need for sleep<\/strong>, it is fundamental for their growth, especially the brain one; for example in the REM phase, that of light sleep, the child consolidates in his memory what he has learned during the day. The <strong>consequences<\/strong> of insufficient sleep can therefore be many and range from eating or learning problems to the risk of developing depressive disorders in subsequent years.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5453\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-4.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t\u00a0need to be a <strong>parent<\/strong> to imagine how easily this\u00a0bother is reflected from the child to the whole family; Parents are the ones who\u00a0take care of\u00a0their children in times of need, welcome them to their bed at dawn and reassure them at night and all this, like a domino effect, also affects their rest and therefore their physical and mental health.<\/p>\n[su_youtube url=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/jzrPh1GsUxg&#8221;]\n<p>Now that we have framed the problem, we present a possible <strong>solution<\/strong> developed by two parents to teach their children the <strong>concept of time<\/strong>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.happytykes.com\/\"><strong>Pali<\/strong><\/a> is <strong>a sleep trainer for children<\/strong>, to help them sleep better. This small <strong>clock\/alarm clock<\/strong> has a <strong>digital screen<\/strong> on the front and a <strong>small drawer<\/strong> on the back. It is controlled by an <strong>app<\/strong>\u00a0to set the night and afternoon sleep times and adjust some interface parameters such as the color of the ring on the screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-1-960x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-1-960x640.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-1-320x213.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-1-640x427.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-1.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pali<\/strong> lives in the <strong>bedroom<\/strong> environment, where the child sleeps alone, more precisely is positioned on the bedside table. The\u00a0fatty cat <strong>look<\/strong> is designed to be <strong>reassuring<\/strong>, to keep company; the <strong>interface<\/strong> is simple but immediate, in the upper part a face that changes expression according to the set mode dominates and, at the bottom, there is an indication of the time and an icon\u00a0for the time of day (sun-moon) ; everything is surrounded by a circular <strong>progress bar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-5451\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-2-960x501.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-2-960x501.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-2-320x167.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-2-768x401.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-2-640x334.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-2.jpg 1128w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This element is certainly the most <strong>interesting<\/strong>,\u00a0and what distinguishes this product from others on the market too. The progress bar clearly shows how long the child has to stay in bed to complete the sleep cycle. It is a <strong>familiar symbol<\/strong> for the child, who is used to seeing it on YouTube (or more generally on any video playback service) and who recognizes its function.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5455\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids.jpg 680w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-320x213.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-640x426.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The screen is surrounded by a <strong>bright and colorful ring<\/strong>; this is adjustable\u00a0through the app and indicates to the child not only when it is time to get up (or when it has not yet arrived&#8230;) but also when the time for bed is approaching, so that the little user can perceive\u00a0the temporal proximity. Finally Pali, as a good sleep coach, is designed to <strong>reward<\/strong> the child who respects the times through a small <strong>drawer on the back<\/strong> that the parent will fill with a prize. This will remain closed (a little out of spite) in case the child falls into the parents&#8217; bed in the middle of the night, otherwise everyone will sleep soundly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5452\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toy-design.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/a-sleep-trainer-for-kids-3.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pali,\u00a0<strong>a sleep trainer for children<\/strong>,\u00a0is on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/derekostler\/pali-sleep-trainer?ref=project_link\"><strong>Kickstarter<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0it has already tripled the target set by his inventors and certainly deserves this recognition for the small but significant innovations on a little explored topic.
